**Black Friday: A Day of Scramble, A Day of Silence**
As the frenzy of Black Friday kicks in, there’s something deeply unsettling about the way we, as a people, scramble for deals—big TVs, discounted gadgets, and stacks of toilet paper. The rush to get the "best" deal is almost like a performance, one that our oppressors quietly watch, knowing exactly how it plays out. They sit back, sipping their coffee or enjoying their art classes, while we chase after fleeting material things that don’t enrich our souls or communities.
The sad irony is this: while we’re caught up in the illusion of "savings," they’re investing in experiences, in knowledge, in things that actually build their legacies. The systems that were built to keep us chasing distractions, to keep us poor in spirit and resources, are still very much alive—and Black Friday is a glaring reminder of that.
So, I ask: What are we really celebrating? A "deal" that leaves us emptier than before? Or the chance to break free, to recognize the game for what it is, and to reclaim what truly belongs to us—our culture, our pride, and our future?
Let’s stop playing into the hands of a system that profits off our scramble. Let’s start investing in ourselves, in our community, and in the things that will leave a lasting impact, not just a dent in our bank accounts.
